Ongoing development and future plans include the construction of a new campus that will feature enhanced amenities including facilities for staff housing, additional dormitories and various essential amenities that will elevate the training environment for students. This follows the future development plan to advance the program to Bachelor Nursing even offering Specialty Courses.
The school’s infrastructure is currently spread across different locations and ongoing projects will enhance integration of all these facilities in future.
Expansion Plans Underway
The school is actively working to acquire land at Section 21 to build a new campus. A master plan for the expansion is already in place, and School Board Chairman Dr. Joseph Nale has appealed to Governor Sasindran Muthuvel for assistance in securing the land title.
Government Support
Governor Muthuvel recently visited the school and presented K200,000 in financial assistance from the provincial government. He pledged further help in liaising with the Lands Department and DHERST to facilitate the land acquisition.
Additional Commitment
Talasea Member Freddie Kumai, who joined the governor during the visit, committed an additional K100,000 to support the school. He emphasized the institution’s role in improving health service delivery in the province and highlighted the construction of a 46-bed Talasea District Hospital at Bola as part of broader healthcare improvements
